Rather than having characters gain a level through accumulating XP or after a certain number of sessions, their advancement is tied to accomplishing particular goals in the campaign. When the characters achieve those goals, they gain Keystones.
The amount of Keystones required to be eligible for leveling up changes depending on your character’s level.
